Day 11 - Driving Home

The final day in Europe. We woke to the sound of race cars, a great view from our hotel balcony of a sports car test session. It was just a testing day but we saw a string of Porsche, BMW, VW, Aston Martin and Nissan's out on track as well as a few more esoteric models (one pictured here). We grabbed breakfast and then went back up to watch another hour before a quick walk around the other track facilities and a souvenir or two. We had a pootle around the Nurburg area criss-crossing the old track before starting the long run home.

Another blast through Germany, Belgium and finally into France. A quick stop at the hypermarket at Calais before catching the Euro Tunnel to Folkstone. A couple more hours on the road (good to be back on the left) and we were home to a very happy cat.

What an adventure it has been, over 3000 miles, thankfully without a blink from the car. Annie's done a superb job.
