Lovely Walk

We started the day with a bus challenge as we wanted to hike along Marlinger Waalweg one way and not there and back.

So we went into the next bigger village by car (Lana) left it in a carpark (just an Euro per day - amazingly) and went to the bus station. Got the bus we wanted which took us into Meran and there we hopped into the next one which brought us to the starting point in Töll Schleuse.

The walk itself was really beautiful. Again a fairly narrow path next to a stream of water and high on the side of the mountains. As it was more or less a photo walk - again - we needed about 4 hours for those 13 kilometers. But we are on holiday and enjoyed a few benches with a view on the way.

This is one of the lovely houses we saw when we left the Waalweg. F. as usual way up front. :-)
