Back in Winter

Today we decided to drive into the Passeier valley. Haven't been there last year so we decided to have a look. Which was worth it. We did try to find a waterfall but the directions were sparse and in the end we gave up. Shame. Next time we need some proper preparations. Doesn't always work to do things on a whim.

At the end of that valley was the village called Pfelders. They still had proper snow and everyone who was able was on ski. We weren't and we tried to walk around a bit. Wrong footwear for the icy patches. So we took a few pictures, like this of an oldish house, and left.

We then ended up in Castle Trautmansdorff which has beautiful botanical gardens. We went there last year about two weeks later in the year and they had much more flowers in full bloom. But it was still very pretty and relaxing to wander about and try not to think about the fact, that we have to leave tomorrow...
