When the rain comes they run and hide their heads

So this is the end of our two day "stay-cation" trip up the Delta, lots of California sunshine and reminders of what lies in store for this area, if things continue on the course before us, not a pretty picture.

I, not being a climatologist, am not that sure as to the what and why behind the drought, so won't venture down that road (or up that -dry- creek)

What I do know is all the streams we once cast our lines into retrieving 8-15 lb. salmon, trout and the oddly misplaced sturgeon, now look like the car park after an Aston Villa vs. Wolves match.

Only the car park offers a better quality of life!

We have fished this particular spot outside of Rio Vista every year for the past five, and never knew this boat was beneath our feet!

This "water crisis" is serious business!! People
