Water, water, everywhere, and not a drop to drink!

Okay, so the 'theme' of mono Monday today is: Water! Water?

why, why, wwhhhyyyy!!!!! Sorry, got carried away there!

Anyway, we went thru the mail this morning, after two days up river (sounds like Daniel Boone - 'up river' - there) and the water board informed us of the new state and district regulations, under which the following are prohibited:

• Irrigating an ornamental landscape area or turf grass with potable water more than three days in any calendar week
• Irrigating within 48 hours following measurable rainfall
• Irrigating between 9 a.m. – 7 p.m., except for system testing and repair
• Using a hose without a shutoff nozzle
• Allowing irrigation water to runoff or overspray the irrigated area
• Hosing down sidewalks, driveways, and other hard-surfaced areas
• Using non-recirculating decorative fountains

New state regulations also require that restaurants serve drinking water only upon request, and that hotels and motels offer guests the option to decline daily laundering of towels and linens and prominently display notice of this option.

Will the last person leaving the park, please turn off the tap!
