"Our" fondamenta

Internet problems. ( this is Italy!). So trying this in the data phone. A very long time getting to Venice...8 hours to Heathrow, but very smooth.. Less than 2 hours in a lovely sunny London to catch the less than 2 hr flight to Venice. Then the 1 hour boat from the airport to our stop on the grand canal where our airbandb host, Carlo, met us. Gorgeous and warm-everyone outside in the campos . But we have one very tired 11yo that we dragged to the grocery store (now there's an experience) and then out for early dinner. She's sitting on the doorstep to our apartment in the dorsoduro while H puts the milk and stuff away. ( up
4 flights)There's that phone and those shoes-I do hope the internet gets better... And now it's time for bed so we are ready to sight-see tomorrow!
