Squero San trovaso

Still no wifi so we are eating dinner at a restaurant with it. Great sight seeing day after good sleep. Kids tour of neighborhood, grand canal in a water taxi, and San Marco!! I liked the reflection on this boat too! This is the squero where the gondolas are repaired. About 400 gondolas now -down from 10,000 in their heyday.
Some good outdoor campo time-cappuccinos, lunch pizza, and wine.gorgeousxday. Even got a visit to nearby Ca rezzonnico recently restored-how could one family have all those riches? We're looking at painting a mask tommorrow....
