Threatening.....

A weekend away in Da Shire with Iain and the SBG.

The last time we took the kids down the road was Easter weekend last year.  It was hot, sunny, and they were rolling down the hills at Drumlanrig Castle.  Not this year!

We had rain, hail, snow, sun and wind - sometimes a combination of all  at once.  

Saturday we loaded the car and headed down the road for lunchtime.  The afternoon was spent going for a walk round the village, wandering round TT (and getting a quick chat with S), and getting caught in heavy rain, followed by wine and the Penguins of Madagascar dvd - which my Mum thoroughly enjoyed.  

Once the SBG settled for the night, we sat and blethered until it was time for bed.  Nice.
