Rosslyn Chapel

This was the last shot I took today, just as my battery ran out! I was looking forward to taking some more blips of the chapel, caught in brilliant sunshine with spectacular skies. The building is full of mystery and history, not least the Inside; the exquisite carvings are apparently some of the best in the whole of Europe, and portray scenes not found in any other 15th century chapel. It has become a kind of Mecca to those interested in the mysteries of life, and contains many carvings relevant to biblical, masonic, pagan and Knights Templar themes. The film Da Vince Code also helps to make it a must see if you visit Edinburgh. Will need to go back.
