a gem of a gift

OK, another gannet, I admit that I am besotted with them. But so is this male with his partner, I have read that he may offer a little grass, a feather or small flowers but this one appears to have more grand ideas, a gem stone (or at least thats what he told her it was).

We also saw a rough legged buzzard but too far away for a good shot.

I'm home now, so no more gannets tomorrow I promise !!  Have booked to go back at the end of May though.
