Flyling like arrows
These gannets have got me hooked, I could watch them all day. Hanging onto the side of the cliffs with barely room for an egg never mind the 2 adults as well. Occasionally bringing in more grass for bedding and then soaring in the air. They are so agile with their massive wings they shoot at arrow like speed with the wind and occasionally plummet into the sea for fish.
I got so many nice seascape shots today, along the east riding coast with blue sea and glorious sunshine but the last 2 hours were back on Bempton Cliffs with the gannets.
Evening meal was appropriately in the Seabirds restaurant at Flamborough, recommended.
