Our Changing Beach

Playa La Ropa has undergone a drastic change in the past couple of days. What is usually an unbroken, 3/4 mile crescent of sand has been transformed by large swells into a number of groupings of rocks, shells, sea-glass, bottle caps, and other flotsam/jetsam. This change has altered the way we walk the beach, we now walk with our heads down, constantly searching the sand for small treasures. I got the idea to photograph the various decaying bottle caps in situ. This is the first of what I hope will be an interesting series of images.
