Victory!
Had to abandon the family today to play the final of the Rabbit category of the Club Championship. With not far off 60 years of experience (I started v. young :-)), and having once had a reasonable handicap, it should have been a doddle against an adversary who only swapped tennis for golf a year ago. But we both seemed determined to hand it to each other on a plate and I wound up having to work quite hard for my victory. Luckily, we're very good friends, so it was great fun and we had a lot of laughs - including posing for this photo, taken by her son after we finished.
Family got a lift back down the hill with a friend and we came back to the house so HH could watch the Masters and I could do some work. Well, the Masters just got too exciting, so I've been blipping with half a brain and watching the last few holes with the other. We're just watching Jordan Spieth walk through a corridor of cheering fans, touching hands all the way. What an amazing performance!!! And what a victory!
