Refraction

It's back to Monday and another week!  Mono Monday challenge is being hosted this month by Notowennewitt.  He has chosen as the theme for this week: Water. Thank you!

 I have chosen one of the properties of water: to refract light. As it passes from the density of air to that of water the light changes the angle of it's trajectory and we can see this by the shape of the objects, in this case the stems of the carnations I was given for Easter!  I must admit I wasn't expecting quite such a startling result!
