For short postmen only

I took a different path today on my dog-less walk (sob) and saw this cute postbox which is raised just a little way off the ground.  It does look very nice.  It is obviously quite new and I hope will age well.  I edited the pic in iPiccy and gave it a slight HDR look.
Mr C came only part way with me - he finds it too tiring to do the whole walk.  We met several neighbours who had not heard about our losing Roo, and they were shocked and very sorry.
