Fazenda

A privilege to have a conducted tour of a sugar cane farm and distillery in the north east of Brazil. At one point, I climbed on top of one of the irrigation rigs and took this shot, which I hope you like. I am at the pivot point of the machine and the arm you see stretches an incredible 600 metres away from where I am perched.

Later, this evening, I dined in the 30C open air by myself listening to a great singer render 'Easy as a Sunday Morning'', under a Fortaleza half moon. It doesn't come much better than that, unless, of course, DD was here too...but we have, at least, once sat in this spot together a few years ago!
