Mauve Flower
We were walking out to Mount Blackheath this morning and on the way to the turning circle I spotted the tiniest little mauve flowers. They were very similar in size to the Pink Flannel Flower.
It's interesting but in all the time I've lived out here I've never seen this beautiful little wildflower on Wombat Hollow. We're only a kilometre (approx) as the crow flies and yet it doesn't seem to grow here. Just another chance to practise what I learnt at the macro course on Saturday.
Just in case you're wondering the little flowers were just under 20mm in diameter.
