There are eight houses in our cul-de-sac.

Last night I consulted the calendar provided by the Cooncil!    The recycling is lifted fortnightly on a Tuesday.   In the blank week, the general rubbish is listed on the Wednesday.     So I read that today was recycling day - blue bin.    I duly put it out.

Guess what?    I read it wrong.   This week it is general bin on Wednesday. This did not prevent every one of the other seven residents seeing my bin and putting out theirs.   Human and ovine psychology seem pretty closely related........
