Cows

I left in good time to walk the 2 and half miles to the Alzheimer's support club. I thought I would go via the canal to see how yesterday's duck and duckings were thriving.

I am pleased to report they are doing splendidly. She had 10 with her - a lot followed her out of the tree yesterday so whether she has lost anymore than the one whose death I witnessed, I don't know.

10 seems like a good survival rate after 48 hours. Anyway, I failed to take both my camera and phone out with me today so no cute duckling photo! Just the cows in the field behind the house.

I hoped to enjoy the garden on my return but my brother has e mailed me lots of works to get on with!
