turned up a bit early for school today which meant we had ten minutes to basque in the glorious afternoon sunshine. delighted to find painted barrels in the playground with matching flowers.

on may the seventh i'll vote for the party who makes it illegal to be at work when it's sunny outside.

on the subject (loosely) of politics i went to an event this evening hosted by our local college. all five of our local candidates were there to take questions from students and staff and it was a really interesting and useful evening. a taster of what to expect at next week's hustings. really good to see students engaged in the political process, as it is they who will inherit the results of our decision making.
