New Mandolin

Matt turned up at band practise with a new mandolin which prompted many tiny guitar comments. It does however sound much better than his old electo acoustic one and this meant that as a band we all sounded just a little bit better.

As it was our first proper practise for months it was really good to get our teeth back into it. We are not changing the setlist for the next gig but we are making some minor changes to some of the songs. The minor changes generally involve Matt, Pete or Me playing less, this seems to make things less cluttered and also means that when we do come back in there is much more impact.

I'm handing the Ricoh back later, what a great little camera. I can clearly see why people love them so much, the image quality is outstanding in the right conditions. Low light seems pretty poor, although the flash is very controllable. So I'm still stuck!
