Porty People and Places

The warm air has  finally made it to the Firth of  Forth today.

The beach, at its best, at low tide, was a prairie of peacefulness.

The gentle  lapping of the surf upon the shore was far more soothing, to me, than than whatever  was being pumped into this man's ears through his ear buds as he chilled on the groyne

Appointments on and off line around the town and around the world will take up most of my day. 

(There were hopeful signs of surveying for a new pedestrian crossing on Portobello High Street this morning . If this plan comes to fruition it will make getting to the beach with our young visitors so much safer.)
