Playing life by ear.

Two of a Kind,

ANNIE AND I,  I suppose we must be, considering what happened last Tuesday.

This is the most  mind boggling coincidence that I've ever encountered. Please read to the end or don't bother, because it isn't about the joke.

On Monday 13th of march, the proverb “ A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush” came to mind, and since my colleagues at work are Italian, I translated it for them literally, "Un uccello nella mano vale due nel cespuglio" but was understood as "A cock in the hand is worth two in the bush" because an Italian would take it to mean COCK instead of bird, so we all had quite giggle over that.

On Tuesday, we shared the joke with another colleague and had another huge laugh.

On Tuesday evening, my dear Scottish friend, Artyfartyannie, who lives in SCOTLAND, sent me an email asking me to translate into Italian “ A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush”

How much of a coincidence is that?

I'm beginning to think that those who maintain  that consciousness actually occurrs outside the brain, may be right! see this for more on the subject. https://vimeo.com/33479544
