Side by side by Salisbury

No better way to spend an anniversary than walking arm in arm through beautiful fields and spending time in one of our greatest cathedrals. The Purbeck marble columns of Salisbury always amaze me, even if they are a little bowed in places.

I always think that visiting a place like this says a lot about your state of mind and today I felt very happy and at peace. 21 wonderful years together. We had lunch and read some of Phyllis and Jack (see yesterday's entry if you want to be enlightened) and laughed about it. After some Googling we concluded it was written in 1927. Things have certainly moved on since then.
