She might be nearly 5 1/2 but she's not too big to want mamas hand as she settled in bed. She fell to sleep on the way home from dance, after dancing the second class as well as her own, so just wanted a wee bit of snuggling as she settled back to sleep in bed.

She did some reading today from a new fairy story. She read some words that surprised me a little including beautiful, colourful, invited, twinkling, whispered, gazing, special, magical and escaped.

She had beans and toast for breakfast and shot off on a mission to cycle to school. Full of it!

She came out from school very excited that she'd had some of the school birthday cake today, though she was disappointed that she "didn't much like it- but ate it anyway". She enjoyed her first session at French club this lunchtime too.
