Getting a new monkey....

..... of course requires a family line up to introduce him and check everyone is present and correct. 

Saturday. Our one morning for a lie in. Typically, I was awake at 4am, she was awake at 5.15. We had monkey parades, we are going to do music theory ("I don't want to go play, mama, I want to get better at music") and then it shall be clarinet time. She's going to have a look through the Star Wars part she has for school orchestra, though it will largely need us to wait for her lesson on Tuesday as it needs a couple of new sharps. Downside of playing an Eb clarinet in an ensemble, she gets loads of sharps once the parts are transposed for her. 

Ballet later on this morning, excited as always of course. Then we are coming home for some piano time before we head out to Youth Group. Afterwards we are setting up the baptistery for tomorrow morning, I think she'll find that rather exciting. The baptisms she's seen so far have been in the sea or the swimming pool.
