A couple of bikes are familiar from previous years' flyerings, helped by their owners keeping them on the same rack year after year. The unease with which I can fail to effectively strike up conversations mean I still prefer chalking the URL, tying posters to lamp-posts and trees and flyering handlebars to more social forms of event-awareness-raising but the few people who I had to speak to during the course of activities so far had at least sort of heard of it, whereas others promoting it by voice on the cyclepaths have found lots of people with no idea of it whatsoever, though thinking back I did find a few of them in the first year it was on, sitting next to some bikes in the Meadows a few metres from the growing queue.
