Narcissus
I was pleased to discover this bright yellow specimen this morning when I went for a wee wander round the policies. We used to have a lot of this particular variety in the front garden but over the years they seem to have disappeared or morphed into another sort. So I was pleased that at least one bulb has survived. I don't know the name but I have a notion that it's an old variety, popular before the trumpet style narcissus that we call daffodils became so common. Maybe an avid gardener blipper out there could identify it for me?
