Ranunculus ficaria
aka Lesser Celandine, and by another dozen colloquial names! A common as muck wild flower but it's actually the leaves I like. Just starting to turn our road verges yellow, at least in the wetter bits that haven't been populated by wild garlic. It took me a wee while to recollect its name from O level botany days of nearly 50 years ago. It had Lola fascinated too, as I took this shot while walking to the park this morning with the grandkids and Grandad. My feeble contribution to Flower Friday this week. Have a great weekend fellow blippers!
