Onwards and upwards

Bookended the day with sociable drinks, but inbetween a manic series of non stop meetings again. Looked much brighter and sunnier today but still pretty chilly, and David Hume Tower looking striking against the sky....this is up for renovation soon so the scaffolding will soon be arriving here too.
Opera in the evening - Jenufa by Janacek. Misery, infanticide and women's subjugation -typical night at the opera! Fab singing and playing though.
