Begin again

When the pain started a few years ago, one of the requirements from the specialist was to enrol in Pilates. But not the health club variety. The dinky-di sort, run by physios with all those contraptions.
It was brilliant. I learnt about all sorts of muscles I owned but hadn't really used. And about muscles used for the wrong thing. It also meant post-op I was back up and running much quicker & without hindering the good work he'd done.
So I thought it best to get back into it. Little did I know there was a rather long wait. But this week I got the call!! Assessment done, & class begins Monday morning (after nightshift -oh joy)
In the meantime I've a list of things to do for homework....

An evening on a different ward. It's a real treat when a 92yo is that sprightly even after accidentally fasting for 20hrs!!
It's a very busy ward that does my head in. But I got through it because they really are a team.
