Life from city to village

By Gibbsangie

An afternoon out...

I had promised to take my daughter out today. So after some thought, suggested we went up to Harrogate. We went to Betty's for some lunch, and then strolled through the Valley Gardens in the sunshine. All very civilised... It was lovely to spend some time together, especially catching such good weather. The garden is Grade 2 listed - quite something for a garden!

This statue is called the Cherubs, and is by an Australian artist, John Robinson. It was first seen in the Uk at the Chelsea Flower Show in 1972, where one of the councillors saw it, and ordered it for the Valley Gardens.
