Hospitals, Monasteries and Storms.

Another snap en route to the hospital to see Hubby's brother. Crazy weather, again. We drove through a rain storm, a snow storm and a thunderstorm. The return trip was in bright sunshine and dramatic skies. This is Stift Göttweig, a Benedictine monastery since 1094, situated in the Wachau region of the Danube. This region is famous for its white wines, particularly Grüner Veltliner, my favourite variety. I am sure this monastery and region will feature in future blips so I will leave it there.
