windflower (anemone)

finally.  a flower that didn't come from a florist!  

regarding the parrot tulip, last monday i wrote: 

"tomorrow's flower is sitting right beside me.  i'm doing my best to coax it to open.  otherwise, hmmmm… something will work out."  

four days later, something did work out.  i gave up and blipped the tulip as is.  it felt like a disaster, hence the euchre comment.  but - i guess the tulip was weird enough to be okay.  someday, maybe, i'll get a parrot tulip to open!  and of course, i will blip it then.
