House building

I apologise for the bad quality of this shot but it was the best I could get through glass. When I groomed Cara I put her loose hair into a feeder and this sparrow very soon decided that it would make a perfect addition to the nest building. It was quite funny to watch and every now and then the bird got such a big beakful - as here - that you couldn't even see it properly. Cara is delighted that she is contributing to a soft nest for the next generation.
