Joy in the sunshine

Walking on the moorland at the moment is such a pleasure. The birds are singing, the gorse is glowing yellow and the larch is beginning to show its greenery. It has been so dry and sunny of late that it isn't even boggy underfoot and I could stay outside for hours with the dogs. Here you have Cara simply revelling in her surroundings and having a great back scratch at the same time. You will notice that there are just a couple of slivers of snow resolutely clinging to the hill tops.
