Put the Flags out!, Spring is here

Back Blipping again ;)

A lot of thought as to what to actually blip for today, had a few contenders but finally plumped for this image of a flower, as it was something a bit different for me.

The image is of a Yellow- Flag iris, which is incidentally, thought to be the source of the fleur-de-lys, so has a nice Welsh connection ;), it has also has been used as a form of water treatment since it has the ability to take up heavy metals through its roots.
