Like an asleep flamingo

As we waited down the hill for big bro to finish school, D waited like 'an asleep flamingo'. I was intrigued as to where that idea had come from, all was made clear when his brother came out from school. They'd watched a musical performance called 'Pink' at school - all about a pink penguin ...and as some point in the musical the penguin tried sleeping like a flamingo. Ah ha! Pretty good one leg sleeping :-)

Back home, into the now hot n sunny garden - planted potatoes, watered seedlings in the greenhouse, boys planted sunflower seeds, and played Lego in the sun. Hello Summer Term :-)
