Vanity...

...Me, not the cormorant.

I went to the River and Rowing Museum in Henley today.
Met friends, celebrated the birthday of one of them.. Very nice. Excellent lunch. Excellent weather. Lovely walk.

Why, oh why have I not learned that there is little point in hoiking a (heavy!) camera around, when vanity has decreed that contact lenses are the order of the day?? All (ALL!) of my images were blurred. This was the best of a bad bunch.
And they looked so perfect to my 'unreading glasses' eyes!

Heigh ho.

(It WAS an excellent day.
Perhaps I have finally learned a lesson and shall recall this, the next time I feel that hope shall triumph over experience).
