Early Monday morning start

The alarm went off at 5am so I could get ready in time to catch a bus and a tram to go to the hospital for the operationon my left foot. I arrived there well in time to register and had the operation around 9:30am. Apparently all went well and I was taken to my room at 12:30pm. Later in the afternoon, they wheeled in a very nice elderly lady who was to share my room until the next day.
