The Leap of Faith
Day two of our adventurous trip away.
Breakfast was cereal, bacon, beans and toast - yummy.
Then came the ropes assault course (x2) and The Leap of Faith. This activicy involves being roped onto a harness, climbing up an incredibly high ladder to stand on a small platform and then leaping for a trapeze handle on which to do pull ups!!! Not one for the faint hearted, as you can see from the picture.
Lunch was a buffet of sandwiches, rice salad and green salad, followed by flapjack and fruit.
The afternoon was Spent abseiling off a very high bridge at Millers Dale and some rope climbing, further along the trail, up a buttress! Excellent fun in the glorious sunshine.
Tea was lasagne - heaven! - with baked potatoes and veg, followed by Bakewell Tart and custard.
During the evening we ran around the grounds looking for 'tin foil monsters' that were worth various amounts of points.
Everyone is now snoring nicely :)))
