5th Avenue along Central Park

We drove to Manhattan this morning and headed over to the Metropolitan Museum in the afternoon. This was a scene along 5th Avenue, just before we boarded a bus down to the museum.  We visited a marvelous exhibition on the "Plains Indians" covering their artistic creativity from their earliest times to the 20th century; most concentrated and interesting for me was the period from 1800 to 1880 or so. It was organized by the Musée du quai Branly in Paris last year, when we were not there--marvelous that we were able to see it here.
