No, not the cheese. St Ives on a glorious Spring day. Artists have always praised the light in the area and on a day like today it was difficult to argue against it. That colour of the sea changed from almost white in the shallows through aquamarine to a deep blue further out. Busy enough out of season with many folk frying gently in sheltered areas on the beach. A great photographic exhibition at the Tate Modern - really worth a visit.
