Jupiter

Wednesday 22nd April 2015 (970)

Back to earth with a bump today, it was hard to get my brain in gear. Spent the whole day on a school governor training course, then went almost straight into a long governors meeting. I had been invited out for a meal this evening though so that was nice.

I hadn't had chance to take any photos but it was a lovely clear night when I came home. Jupiter was sparkling in the sky so I decided to try and photograph it to make a change from the moon. Amazing how the camera can pick up its shape and colour. Apart from a crop I haven't adjusted this photo at all. Sorry it isn't as sharp as my moon shots but the moon is only 387,000 km away whereas Jupiter is  588 million kms away. Still, not bad for a bridge camera!
