Quince

It's a cold, grey, miserable day today, so what better to lift the spirits than this wonderful golden quince.  The colour is enhanced because I took it under the kitchen lights, and I used the flash - the uncooked colour of quince is more apple-y, sort of cream.

But what I liked was the way the seeds all snuggle together in a row.

And cooked of course, it turns a wonderful garnet colour.

I love quince.

It's my Friday tomorrow, but I might hold off until Saturday for the Wide Angle Wednesday awards.  That'll be Friday up north.
