St Nicholas at St Nicholas for St George!

St Georges Day today and my very good friend Pat's birthday!

Work was good, getting sorting with invoicing and the new accounts package and slowly getting used to how things tick!

Warm afternoon, the allotment lettuce and strawberry plants doing well, tomato seeds being slow to germinate though!  

Sad news today that neighbours of ours have had to say goodbye to their little dog, Denzel, he has been under the weather for a couple of weeks an the vets were not sure what was going on.  Eventually the diagnosis was adrenal glad cancer and he has gone rapidly downhill this week.  They are in shock and heartbroken, so sad, the little chap was only 8 years old.

We rang the bells at St Nicholas Church and we rang a method called St Nicolas in honour of St George and then had  a pint down the pub afterwards and Matt is off to work in London tonight!
