On the Water

Stop worrying Philippa.....So this is our 24 hours of heaven..we are staying on a tiny island near Livingstone on the Caribbean coast of Guatamala. A cabin, with air con on the mouth of River Dulce...we will travel on this tomorrow.

We are in the second most underpopulated part of this wonderful country....tropical, humid conditions. So an afternoon of cocktails and dips in the pool. Hotel Catamaran was developed by an American guy and his Guatemalan wife in the 60s. A bit of a hippy feel as we stay in our cabin on stilts way out on the water.

Oh we did visit another archeological site today but it wasn't as good as yesterday
