Did I hear it was Fungi Friday? Flowers? too bad.

Not the blue fungi we had heard about on a track near Kaiteriteri. Just a big whopper under some beech trees. People walking by wondered what we were doing, blipmate and I, crouched down with noses practically in the leaf mould that smothered the ground. Might be a bit early or not quite wet enough. A glorious day to be out at the beach which was just below us.
