masterchef

in honour of the masterchef final, we held our own little masterchef final tonight.

mum served a starter of parma ham and melon risotto with parmasan.

i served a main of steak with a spicy peanut sauce, zingy salsa and triple cooked chips.

malesi served a dessert of warm chocolate cake and cornish ice-cream served with the most incredible salted caramel whisky sauce.

dad was given the menu in advance and chose a lovely selection of wines, tailored to each course.

now we are all rather sloshed and wondering if we'll stay awake for the final.
