MAGIC BLIP DAY......

..... from a casual comment between Walking Wombat in Australia (Blue Mountains) to Snowy in New Zealand (Wanaka) some 12 months back about Snowy's magnificent autumn coloured garden we had today the most fantastic Blip meet in the World...... yep, you read right .... in the World!!!

With Blipper's came from all parts of New Zealand, and Australia, Newcastle Downunder (Jen) from Newcastle, Walking Wombat (Barb), nininex (Carolyn) from Perth and myself. Plus gilisey (Diane) form England and of course our DOP's (directors of photography).

After meeting last night at the local pub in Wanaka, and then going to a "bash" at tussocktales (David & Ann), we all met today starting at dawn for the dawn service/s for our fallen with the 100 year anniversary since the landing of the ANZAC troops in Gallipolli.

We then met at Snowy's for lunch in her truly wonderful garden. Check out the group shot sure to go up. Thanks Snowy for a wonderful gathering and meal.

Have decided on a collage with a shot from the dawn service (and yes the pic in "extras" is the colour in sky at this point, and a couple of Snowy with Jen and Barb (Walking Wombat) who read a moving poem and we all sung the national anthems from NZ and Oz.... very moving if I do say myself.

Just a magical day.......

Enjoy, and have a look in  LARGE and check out the colours in Snowy's garden and although it was blowing an absolute gale I did do the lone tree in Lake Wanaka, which must be the most photographed place in New Zealand, in the attached extra pics.
